Veterinary Medicine and Surgery PGCert

Course Description

The PGCert Veterinary Medicine and Surgery is a 12 month full-time taught programme aimed at new and recent veterinary graduates. It provides focused training in the candidates chosen clinical subject area. This is facilitated by appropriate exposure to clinical case load and scholarly activity, including the submission of a clinically-based research project, a clinical portfolio and clinical case report. All students are allocated a clinical supervisor or supervisors from the school who oversee the programme. Teaching is undertaken in appropriate clinical settings. The PGCert is distinct from the RCVS CertAVP and is not approved for inclusion in the RCVS register.
