This pre-masters programme is designed to provide instruction and training for students without a recognised electrical and electronic engineering background wishing to enhance their training to gain access on an MSc course. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive coverage of specialist skills required by an engineer working in electrical and electronic engineering. Upon successful completion of the course students will: * have a superior level of understanding of electrical and electronic engineering concepts together with a high level of professional, practical and transferable skills and will be able to apply these to solving a wide range of electrical and electronic engineering problems * be able communicate effectively * take full responsibility for their own personal and professional development * progress to a full-time MSc programme in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
