The programme covers all the foundation subjects required by the UK’s Solicitors Regulation Authority to pass the Academic Stage of training that forms part of the professional qualification as a solicitor. There is also the opportunity to study a specialist option from within the Law School or a non-law module from elsewhere in the University.
Most graduates pursue further training and a career in law after graduation. The concentrated nature of study is only appropriate to those who have already acquired basic study skills through a previous degree programme.
The Graduate LLB offers opportunities for you to enhance your employability skills through extra-curricular activities. As well as the wide range of curriculum based learning activities, you will have the chance to take part in mooting and pro bono work, and benefit from a range of activities involving members of the legal profession.
