Course Description

What is Mental Health Counseling ? Our CACREP-accredited masters degree program is designed around a set of core classes, selected to be consistent with national accreditation standards for masters programs in counseling, state licensing requirements for counselors, and university requirements for graduate programs. In addition to this common core, the masters in mental health counseling program requires specialized coursework and extensive field-based internship training to prepare the student for professional practice.
