About MLibArts Liberal Arts with Study Abroad The first two years of the MLibArts programme are identical to the BA course, with core units, a numeracy and a language unit, as well as optional units. You will also begin to explore your subject pathway. This may be one of the disciplines taught by a department in the Faculty of Arts, or a cross-departmental pathway in Medieval Studies or Film Studies. A special feature of the MLibArts is the opportunity to spend your third year abroad, when you will have the opportunity to study at one of numerous prestigious universities around the world with which the University of Bristol has an exchange agreement.
