The MSc in Advanced Microelectronic Systems Engineering has been designed to meet the needs of the UK strength in this industry. The programme is run jointly by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Department of Computer Science, and spans the topics from both disciplines required for rapid professional advancement in the Microelectronics design industry. The programme is split into three pathways; an experienced pathway for those who are already proficient in programming and have appropriate prior learning, a foundation pathway for those who are new to programming, and an intermediate pathway which those passing the criteria for the experienced pathway may elect to follow.
