With access to industry-standard facilities and the opportunity to work alongside other creative fashion students at UCA, you’ll benefit from a clear teaching focus on creative thinking within fashion retail management, as well as quick and regular personal academic feedback from the industry experts that run the course. The course is mainly theoretical (around 70% in total), although a number of your assignments will be live case studies, giving you an insight into the current retail market. Lectures are interactive, and an eight-week placement in your second year and guest lectures will expand your understanding of the fashion retail business. You may also undertake part-time work (one day a week or during the weekends) so that you’re able to put your learning into practice regularly.
