The five-year program requires five academic years and one summer of study. Upon completion of the program, you will receive both a bachelor's and master's degree. You need a bachelor of science in the mechanical engineering field or a closely related discipline to be eligible for our one-year Master's of Engineering-Biomedical Engineering program. Evening and late-afternoon classes accommodate working professionals. Experience The master of engineering degree requires 32 semester credit hours beyond the undergraduate program. The curriculum consists of 21 credits in biomedical engineering, three credits in advanced mathematics, and an eight-credit-hour design project.
