The MEng Energy and Environmental Engineering programme is intended to provide students with a thorough grounding in mechanical engineering science and then apply this to the environment. In addition, students will develop knowledge in a suitable range of manufacturing processes and materials. The programme will also consider environmental aspects of design and technology and will enable students to gain a range of skills, relevant to a broad range of employment opportunities.

This industry consists of both small specialists manufacturers and large scale industries. There is a clear market for students to be employed in this field and the demand for environmental engineering graduates remains high with excellent starting salaries offered to graduates.
