The programme will provides you with the Industry Skills and Academic underpinning required to secure a highly successful career in international Event Management. Throughout the course students will focus on developing their employability skills and industry knowledge with exciting field study trips within the UK and overseas, internships and placements as well as a range of supporting lectures, tutorials and event focused activities. Initially the course generically considers the links with events, leisure, tourism and sport before developing specialism within the event management sector. Learning will be underpinned by core skills development focusing on management and leadership skills, events planning and organisation as well as hospitality and guest service and will enable successful students to progress to BA (Hons) Event Management.
