On this programme you are encouraged to explore and develop your ideas utilising the latest computer technologies and software. Student learning is through practice: the degree is at least 80% practical and culminates in a series of personally directed projects which allow you to direct your studies towards your preferred specialist area with an emphasis on personal expression. The School of Digital Media has excellent links with new media companies both locally and nationally. Through dialogue with industry and the application of the latest developments in new media, graduates from this programme are suitably equipped to enter the media industry as practitioners in this global revolution. Areas of employment would include: CD/DVD/Web designer, digital production artist (2D and 3D), web editor, assistant art director.
