The International Foundation Year in Engineering and Computing provides you with an opportunity to progress to an undergraduate degree mainly taught in the Faculty of Science and Technology. The Faculty covers an impressive range of subjects with high research profiles. The Faculty includes centres of excellence such as the Lancaster Environment Centre with over 300 researchers, and InfoLab21, carrying out ICT research with Microsoft and Nokia. When you join the International Study Centre, you will be required to select up to four undergraduate degree choices from the programmes and will receive a conditional offer of a place on one of your choices. We will support you in making appropriate degree choices and in submitting your application to the university, including advice on the completion of your personal statement. An interview or aptitude test may be required as part of the application process for some courses.
