Newcastle-under-Lyme College's Faculty of Art and Creative Studies has an established reputation for quality higher education teaching. The Foundation degree in Dance and Theatre Arts has been developed in conjunction with Staffordshire University. This course encourages students to develop the skills required in the professional performing arts industry. The course focuses on performance techniques in Dance, Singing and Acting, as well as a look into the worlds of Theatre History, Marketing and the use of Social Media in professional performance and the key skills required to offer students the opportunity to progress to other HE awards.
