Course Description

Mechanical engineers are required to understand and use scientific and technical knowledge. If you want to model mechanical engineering systems, predict system behaviour and understand manufacturing processes and how they influence design, then our Mechanical Engineering degree could be for you. The course focuses on key engineering skills and illustrates - through the use of examples and problem-based learning - their application to relevant areas. The course will prepare you for a wide range of careers. You'll develop an understanding of business management principles and the role of the mechanical engineer when working within a process to provide a product or service that meets a specific demand.
