The Engineering Foundation Year will give you a solid introduction to engineering and applied technology. The course is ideal if you didn't get the results you'd hoped for during further education or if you're considering a career change and therefore don't have the entry qualifications for engineering. You'll have the chance to gain basic engineering knowledge and skills, as well hands-on experience in our electronics, mechanical, automotive, aeronautical and product design labs. This will prepare you for your next stage of study. When you pass this course, you'll meet the entry requirements for all of our BEng(Hons) and BSc(Hons) undergraduate degrees.
