This Graduate Diploma programme provides the opportunity for information technology students to specialise in the disciplines of either Networking or Web Development. As well as promoting and enhancing their knowledge base, skills, and professionalism, it aims to stimulate students to develop an inquiring and analytical approach to problems and issues, and to encourage independent judgment and creative thinking.

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology who complete the networking strand will be able to analyse information systems including feasibility for installation, developing information systems and configuring and troubleshooting information networks. Graduates will also be able to manage internet sites and associated software. Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology majoring in web development will be able to develop, implement and manage web applications for organisations and businesses.
