This programme aims to produce students who demonstrate capability in applied arts skills, understanding of applied arts knowledge and applications of techniques to a range of applied arts and craft practices.

Graduates can demonstrate the use of applied skills in core areas of art; design and media studies to create 2D and 3D artworks and to produce photographic and graphic design outcomes using digital technology. They can apply knowledge and skills of safe working practices within art and craft industries. They have gained an introductory level understanding of professional practice, and art history and theory, which leads to employment in the art and craft industry or to further study.
