The aim of the programme is to provide the skills required to prepare for and guide adventure tourism day trips with clients. The course provides a pathway to the National Diploma in Tourism ( Management) level 5. Graduates are able to provide first aid, prepare and deliver guided interpretation, and demonstrate knowledge of environmental awareness and Quality Tourism Standards for Adventure Tourism. The course is suited to people training for a career, or currently employed, in the Adventure Tourism industry in New Zealand.
