Course Description

The Master of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering) will deliver graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in robotics and mechatronics and control systems. You will develop the skills to lead the introduction of new technologies and operating practices in advanced manufacturing and a range of other technical industries including mechanical systems design, mechatronics, and micro- and nano-technology. This will be combined with advanced oral and written communication, teamwork, design, project management and research skills. There is a market demand for engineers with advanced skills such as computer-aided design and the ability to develop and implement new processes in lean manufacturing to ensure efficient innovations can emanate from all levels of the workforce.

You can work in mechanical systems design, advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, and micro- and nano-technology. Graduates will be sought both in Australia and overseas.
