The NYIT-Vancouver program is based on NYIT programs offered and approved in New York. The Vancouver program is offered under the consent of the Minister of Advanced Education of British Columbia. Courses are taught by professors from NYIT's New York campuses or by local faculty. In addition to standard New York content, Canadian content is added to ensure that students are fully competitive in the Canadian environment. Students who choose to pursue the M.B.A. with a concentration must complete fifteen (15) credits of coursework in addition to the waiveable and non-waiveable core requirements. M.B.A. with Concentration in Finance Finance concentration must complete both ACCT 721 Advanced Financial Accounting and FINC 765 Portfolio Management and three courses (9 credits) chosen from the following list. Each course is three (3) credits. M.B.A. with Concentration in Tourism Tourism concentration must include the completion of five courses (15 credits) chosen from the following list. All courses are three (3) credits.

The great majority of NYIT M.B.A. students have job offers or are enrolled in further study soon after they graduate. Many NYIT-Vancouver graduates (international students) return to their home countries to seek employment, while others have secured jobs with companies such as TD Canada Bank, Fido, President's Choice MasterCard, Sunlife Financial, Walmart Canada, Poscan Canada, Strong International, Zara, Cision, World Financial, Manulife, and Zee Power Group. Average pay will differ by experience, position, industry, and company.
