Our diploma of science prepares you for a science degree at Monash University. After successfully completing a Monash College diploma and achieving the required destination degree score, you will have guaranteed entry into second year at Monash University. Your time at Monash will be filled with laboratory work, field trips, industry placements and classroom teaching. You can tailor your degree to suit your interests, with 23 areas of study to choose from. Our diplomas are in two parts, part 1 and part 2. The entry requirements in part 2 are higher. In part 1, you’ll study core science subjects. In part 2, you’ll study the same subjects as first year university students and choose a science elective depending on your interests and major. Assessments include group projects, oral presentations, poster presentations, tutorial assessments and a final exam.
