The Graduate Diploma of Laws is available to non-lawyers. It provides focused foundational knowledge and training of skills to prepare for further postgraduate study in law, or to provide training for individuals in allied professional fields such as in government, advocacy, or management or compliance roles in private and commercial settings. The level of preparation in the Diploma is more extensive than the Graduate Certificate of Laws as it requires students to complete additional electives, thereby enhancing their experience, focus, knowledge and capacity in a range of legal subjects. Completion of the Graduate Diploma of Laws enables students to articulate into further post-graduate level study (Juris Doctor, Master of Laws, Master of International Trade and Commerce Law or Master of International Law, Governance and Public Policy).
