It is located next to Macquarie University Hospital, Australia’s only private hospital on a university campus. In other words, our researchers and teachers are given a uniquely high level of support. The Doctor of Advanced Medicine (DAdvMed) is a three year, full-time professional doctorate program that allows Australian and overseas surgeons to advance their understanding in academic leadership. The program extends the depth of understanding in academic clinical leadership and develops the capability for graduates to make a substantial original contribution to the knowledge base in medicine.
