Our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) is the first medical school in Australia to offer credentialed sub-speciality, post-fellowship training. It is located next to Macquarie University Hospital, Australia’s only private hospital on a university campus. In other words, our researchers and teachers are given a uniquely high level of support. The Master of Advanced Medicine degree is a one-year (full-time) program that is ideally suited to those who have completed a relevant College training program (or equivalent) and who wish to acquire a university qualification demonstrating mastery of clinical competence in a particular specialisation, acquisition of life-long learning skills and a capacity for leadership.
