The Masters in Science (MSci) degrees provides an ideal preparation for research and development work in industry or for a PhD. They are designed to create leaders in the subject area by giving in-depth experience of cutting edge research.
The final year provides a broad understanding and study of entrepreneurship, leadership and management, together with team working skills. There is also a significant, research based individual project conducted with a member of academic staff.
The Computer Science and Mathematics course contains the full core of a Mathematics BSc course and allows students to follow career paths open to single honours maths students, as well as giving students the additional option of pursuing careers in programming and software engineering.
