Course Description

The Bachelor of Business provides students with the foundation skills and knowledge necessary to understand and successfully enter the world of business. Students enter their chosen career with specialist knowledge, having studied across a range of professional fields and specialised elective subjects. Graduates of the Bachelor of Business have a high level of employability due to the practical skills learned during the course, such as analytical skills, high-level problem solving, communication and teamwork. The Bachelor of Business accounting stream provides students with the strong foundation skills and knowledge required to successfully enter the workforce as an accountant. Upon graduation, students are equipped with a specialist understanding of accounting and its associated business fields. The Bachelor of Business HR stream provides students with skills in basic human resource functions and management. The course includes foundation business subjects in conjunction with specialised human resource units that cover employment and industrial law, workplace relations, contemporary management, strategic and international management. The Bachelor of Business Hospitality & Tourism Management stream will equip students with the core business skills and academic theory required to take advantage of the many and varied career opportunities within the global tourism industry. This dynamic industry requires graduates to be innovative and responsive to challenges and changes in this ever developing sector, our program is designed with this in mind.
