We have a distinctive specialist, practice-based research culture which is widely recognised internationally. The generation of new knowledge and understanding through creative practice, scholarship and criticism in Fine Art, Design, Craft, Architecture and related fields is central to the concept of research. Our researchers include artists, designers, architects, historians and critics of world standing.
We offer opportunities for part-time and full-time programmes of research, starting in September and January each year, and welcome applications for either mode. Enquiries about topics will be considered on their merits and on our capacity to provide appropriate expert supervision.
