The MPhil programme in the Business School at Bangor has been described by external experts as 'second to none in the UK'. Our role of PhD throughput is amongst the highest in the UK. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), Accounting and Finance within the Business School has been rated as the best in the UK for the quality of research conducted by its staff, and we also have ESRC recognition for our research training (MA to PhD) in Banking and Finance. Our current and recent PhD students are a lively and friendly community. Their areas of research interest are as diverse and interesting as their backgrounds.
