The Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) is designed for health professionals with at least five years’ professional experience who wish to broaden their professional practice competency and expertise. It comprises of papers and research development, which culminates in a thesis. You will have the chance to explore multiple methodologies to contribute new knowledge and apply independent critical thinking to an existing body of knowledge in their field. The DHSc is a combination of papers and research, with course work papers totaling 120 points and a thesis of 240 points. You provide a full research proposal when nearing the end of coursework, before commencing the thesis paper.
