Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Network and Communication Engineering

Course Description

Our world turns on information. Network and communication engineers are the people who make sure the information gets through – they design, test and build our communication networks. A communications network is a collection of terminals, links and nodes which connect to enable communication between users of the terminals. Networks may transfer voice, video or data, and terminals in the network must have a unique address so that messages or connections can be routed to the correct recipients. In this major you learn about the design, implementation, remediation and security of computer network devices and computer network systems. You gain core skills in network engineering and computer and network programming and installation.
