Full-time undergraduate (3 years, 4 years with placement) The course prepares you for meeting the growing demands of utilising big data across sectors in the career market, as predicted by the McKinsey report. You will practice trading securities and stocks in our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, and obtain Bloomberg certification. Along the way, you will learn from a mixture of high profile academics and professional practitioners, who actively engage with businesses and governments, offering advice on financial modelling, data mining, big data, and business decision making. You will become a member of the Finance Society, which holds seminars and presentations from Society of Technical Analysis, Barclays, Bank of England.

On successful completion of this degree, you will be well prepared for entry into finance or business analytics careers such as business intelligence experts, financial business analyst, data architects, and enterprise architects. Possible roles include the management of design and development teams and leading information system initiatives and associated projects. The course also provides you broader business knowledge and general management skills that are sought after by businesses.
