Students pursuing Latin American Studies learn about the cultural, political, social, and economic dynamics of a multifaceted and diverse region comprising over twenty countries, different geographic regions, and a rich history. They will also learn about conflicts generated by unequal relations of power, and fundamental issues such as human rights, Indigenous mobilization, and political democratization. This interdisciplinary program features courses from various departments, including Anthropology, History and French, Spanish, and Italian.
