Nelson, with its busy port and thriving boat culture, is a great place to gain the skills in seamanship and hospitality you need to work in the global superyacht industry. During this 12 week programme you will learn a wide range of skills in navigation, seamanship, powerboat training, engine maintenance, superyacht interior operation, hospitality services, basic radar and safety You will gain the STCW Basic Safety Training and Security Awareness certificates. You will also receive the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) certificates for the RYA Competent Crew and RYA L2 Powerboat components of the programme. This programme is highly practical with learning either together in a group, as well as some online components. Through the development of your Individual Learning Plan, this programme has the flexibility to enable you to achieve your goals at the right time, place and pace for your learning.
