Course Description

Students desiring to serve as a required FAA crewmember in the position of Flight Attendant, either in the airline or corporate setting, will benefit from obtaining a degree from CBU in Aviation Inflight Services. With the opportunity to see the world, and eventually move into Inflight Services management, completing this comprehensive degree program will provide students a successful foundation to enter the field of inflight services. This degree program provides students a foundation in aviation, as well as courses in self-defense, first aid and safety, sociology, communications, marketing, and crew resource management. Unique to our program, students will actually complete a five-day airline flight attendant training course with an industry-recognized training firm. Students will gain hands-on experience in emergency procedures, land and water evacuations, turbulence, aircraft familiarization, aircraft emergency equipment and operation, aircraft evacuation routes and techniques, first aid, aircraft lifesaving onboard equipment use and operation, security, personal defense, and CPR.
