Course Description

This programme is designed to recognise and build on skills and knowledge for people who already have industry experience and/or have completed Level 3 agricultural training. It allows students to spend more time learning on the job, supported with a theory component delivered by qualified tutors with relevant industry experience. Study at this level gives students exposure to more of the decision making processes that occur on farm and allows them to take increased responsibility for their work. Students will study part-time and must have full-time employment within the agriculture sector. Tutors plan classroom days around the farming season to help students balance their work and study.
