The Graduate Certificate in Law (GCertLaw)

Course Description

The Graduate Certificate in Law (GCertLaw) is a highly flexible programme that offers students an opportunity to study at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The GCertLaw consists of 200- to 500-level LAWS courses chosen from the LLB, LLB(Hons) or LLM programmes. It has a total value of no less than 60 points, including at least 40 points at 300 level or above. The GCertLaw normally takes one trimester of full-time study. If it is studied part-time it must be completed in two years. Law courses passed as part of the GCertLaw may be credited to an LLB if at a later stage you are admitted to study the LLB degree.
