Course Description

By attending the Electronics Engineering Technology (Co-op) program, students will be prepared for a challenging career in the electronics field through lectures, practical application and a real world workplace experience. The three-year offering, which falls under the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science umbrella, offers Electronics Engineering Technology courses that will focus on critical topics such as: telecommunications, wireless networks, fibre optics, digital signal processing, microcontrollers, computer, quality assurance and industrial controls. Practical application, meanwhile, will include designing, troubleshooting, analyzing, repairing, testing, measuring and documenting a variety of electronic systems and subsystems. Students selecting this co-op option will complete on-the-job experience during co-op work terms. This experience will be useful in building a network that will help them to launch a career once they graduate.
