The undergraduate major gives you an opportunity to learn about the principles and theories of human and animal behavior and emphasizes the scientific aspect of psychology. You'll study motivation, physiological bases of behavior, learning and cognition, personality, origins of deviant behavior, and human development. In addition, you'll learn methods for investigating and describing behavior as well as making critical appraisals, and achieves some understanding of the ways in which psychology is applied to everyday life.
