The mission of the Office of Student Affairs is the well being of students. We are here to support you during your time at the Yale School of Medicine and to provide whatever personal, professional or academic guidance you need. Students are encouraged to consult the associate dean for student affairs, knowing that confidentiality is respected and upheld. Services provided by the Office of Student Affairs include: Registration Scheduling of clinical rotations and electives Review of evaluations Career planning and academic advising Arrangements for international study Residency applications Letters of recommendation for joint degree programs, research fellowships and residency programs Sanctioning and support for official student organizations Academic records and verification of status Advice regarding academic, personal and career decisions
