VanArts' one-year Broadcasting program, built on the foundation of 40 years of training at Columbia Academy, gives you a chance to hone your craft as a communicator and storyteller to a mass audience. Working with industry professionals and guest speakers from Vancouver's media scene, you will be on the air every day on our campus radio station. You will also master the skills needed for producing excellent TV news stories, and dive into the brave new world of social media, podcasting and viral video production for the web. Upon graduation, you are ready to hit the ground running with hundreds of hours in real, hands-on broadcast experience and a portfolio representing your diverse skills.
