Course Description

The three year BA (Hons) in Business and Management will introduce you to the cutting edge of theory and research in management thinking and practice whilst developing your critical thinking and analytical skills. The BA (Hons) in Business and Management develops an understanding of the theory and practice of management. During your second and Final year you will develop the areas of: organisational analysis, strategic management, marketing, human resources and international business. The programme provides: modules delivered by industry experts which demonstrate how theory is put into practice broad business and management background the analytical, technical and interpersonal skills you need to address the problems facing organisations an enhancement to your employability.

Annually our students join leading organisations for their placements including Morgan Stanley, Ernst and Young, Intel, Xerox as well as joining the Public sector, Fortune 500 firms and small and medium enterprises. All of our undergraduate modules incorporate the development of the skills required to meet the demands of modern business. For example our entrepreneurial Business Planning module sees students work as part of a team to develop a business concept building towards presentation of the idea and business plan to a panel of business experts.
