Combine your interest in accounting and finance with the background to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). In Accounting and Financial Management (AFM), you'll: Learn and understand both accounting and finance thoroughly Enhance your learning with 16 months of co-op work experience and professional development activities Integrate and apply accounting and finance comprehensively – in class and at work Tailor your direct pathway to the CPA professional designation by continuing with the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program. Gain advanced preparation to work toward a CFA professional session Through co-op work terms, competitions, and conferences just for Waterloo AFM students, you'll get a head start on your career - and learn to solve real business problems and to do business in a global environment.
