The Fine Arts Department offers several Undergraduate Academic Plans. Students can choose a Four-year Honours major, a Three-year General major or a minor in either Studio practice (the making of art) or Visual Culture (the study of art history, film and the way we see the world). There is also the option of an Honours Double Major in Studio Art and Visual Culture, or an Honours Double Major with another department. This can also be in combination with the Arts and Business Co-op & Regular or Honours Arts Co-op. Please note, that all honours programs require a minimum of 20.0 units, and general programs require a minimum of 15.0 units. The Department of Fine Arts reminds students that advising is a partnership between the advisor and the student. Ultimately students should read the Calendar very carefully and are responsible for appropriate progress toward their educational goals.
