You now have the opportunity to expand your religious and spiritual horizons, increase your knowledge of (some of) these traditions and ideas and to develop critical methods of evaluating them. Studies in Religion offers courses by professional and highly enthusiastic teachers in the areas of Western and Eastern religious traditions, spiritual practices and religious thought, in the psychology of religion, in new religious movements, and in the original languages of the sacred texts of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam.

This program will prepare you for a range of careers in leading academic or professional organisations. Your research training and critical thinking will give you an edge in rapidly changing work environments where logical reasoning, creative thinking and good communication skills are essential. While this degree may be accredited by an official industry accreditation body in Australia, completion of the degree may not result in graduates receiving automatic accreditation.
