Course Description

The mission of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln chemical and biomolecular engineering program is to provide qualified students with a foundation in engineering sciences and engineering design methods to prepare them for successful professional careers and to contribute to the needs of society. Chemical engineers use their strong background in mathematics and life sciences, particularly physics, chemistry, biochemistry and biology, to overcome and solve technical problems. Your knowledge and expertise in engineering will serve in resolving technical challenges and finding solutions. Traditionally associated with fuels and energy systems, modern chemical engineers also make significant contributions to the fields of biomedicine, biotechnology and microelectronics.
