Course Description

The program is geared towards the top 2 percent of students in computer science and aims to educate an elite cohort of researchers and professionals entering the field of software engineering. Graduates are not only able to face the challenges of tomorrow but to be actively involved in the development of tomorrow's solutions. Highlights of the program include: The rigorous curriculum A worldwide academic network offering the opportunity to study or intern abroad The integration of globally leading industrial partners Accompanying soft skills education Individual mentoring by scientists and decision-makers in industry This is the first elite course of study in Software Engineering in Germany. Only a small number of students are admitted to the program each year. Students work with a mentor to create a course of study that is tailored to their individual interests. The education is focused on the following five central topics of modern software engineering: Software Engineering Methods Formal Methods and IT-Security Database Systems Distributed Systems Human Computer Interaction
