This International Year 1 pathway delivers the freshman courses that international students require for a BA or BS degree at the University of Maine (UMaine). Students take 16 - 31 academic credits

International students spend between 2 and 4 semesters in International Year One. On successful completion, they join the second year of more than 20 bachelor's degrees in business, economics, engineering, environmental sciences, food sciences, education and social sciences programs.
