Media and film studies at Sussex is ranked in the top 15 in the UK (The Guardian University Guide 2015). Sussex also comes 16th for communication and media studies in The Complete University Guide 2015. In the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), carried out in 2008, media and film at Sussex were rated 8th in the UK. All of the University’s research was rated internationally recognised and 75 per cent was rated internationally excellent or world leading. Sussex is ranked in the top 100 in the world for communication and media studies in the QS World University Rankings 2014.
