B.F.A. in Architectural Design

Course Description

The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is awarded upon completion of 120 credits as designated by the program. A maximum of 60 credits of undergraduate-level coursework can be transferred from other institutions. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and fulfill all requirements in a timely manner. Parsons’ BFA Architectural Design degree program situates practice in a fine arts context and in relation to the spatial and making disciplines of interior design and product design. In this pre-professional major, you investigate environmental, cultural, and theoretical concerns using methods ranging from full-scale construction to digital animation. You create socially engaged, collaboratively made, and globally oriented work along with students in graduate programs in architecture, industrial design, interior design, and lighting design, also offered at Parsons’ School of Constructed Environments (SCE).
