This course consists of the following: * Child & young person development * Introduction to communication * Equality & inclusion * Paediatric first aid * Supporting positive behaviour Mandatory work placements are arranged by the tutor.

* Assistant pre-school worker * Assistant in children's centre * Assistant in a day nursery or nursery school * Assistant in nursery classes in a primary school
